Project Overview:

3rd Ave partnered with Spotify to produce the 2022 Wrapped Playground, a carnival-themed celebration held at Goya Studios in Los Angeles to mark Spotify’s annual year-end music review.

The event featured custom rides, interactive games, and scenic builds inspired by top artists of the year. Paris Hilton opened the night with a DJ set, followed by a performance from Charli XCX, creating an energetic and immersive atmosphere for guests.

3rd Ave handled fabrication and installation of the themed scenic elements, transforming the venue into a colorful, playful space that captured the excitement and creativity behind Spotify Wrapped.

Objectives:

To bring Spotify’s year-end Wrapped celebration to life through immersive design and fabrication that reflected the energy, creativity, and diversity of its top artists. 3rd Ave aimed to transform the event space into a vibrant, carnival-inspired playground that encouraged guests to explore, play, and celebrate the music and moments that defined the year.

Result:

The event drew major attention from artists, influencers, and media, becoming one of Spotify’s most talked-about Wrapped celebrations to date. Guests immersed themselves in the colorful, carnival-inspired space, engaging with interactive games, photo moments, and performances. 3rd Ave’s scenic builds helped set the stage for an evening that captured the excitement and creativity of Spotify’s year in music.
